According to calculations by the German Weather Service (DWD), the mean annual temperature was 10.9 degrees Celsius. With 2185 hours, the sunshine duration also reached a record value, as the DWD announced on Friday in Offenbach.
In a comparison of the federal states, Baden-Württemberg was the sunniest federal state. According to the DWD, the summer was only the second warmest since weather records. The final evaluation of all station data should take place at the beginning of January.
