Offenbach/Stuttgart (dpa/lsw) – It will be stormy in the Black Forest: The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts gusts of wind of around 75 kilometers per hour for Wednesday, and even severe gusts of wind of up to 100 kilometers per hour for the southern Black Forest in the evening. As the weather service in Offenbach announced on Tuesday, it can be unusually warm in the southwest on New Year’s Eve, “almost spring-like at up to 19 degrees, if only it weren’t for the very windy to stormy wind at lower altitudes,” said the meteorologist Tanya Sauter.
