Villingen-Schwenningen (dpa/lsw) – CDU state chief Thomas Strobl has accused the traffic light government of inaction in dealing with the energy crisis. The federal government must “come out of the quark” and finally support small and medium-sized companies, said Strobl on Saturday at the CDU state party conference in Villingen-Schwenningen (Schwarzwald-Baar district).

Strobl called the government a “chaos troop in Berlin” that hesitated and hesitated. Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) does not even manage to create unity with the federal states in the federal relief package. “The traffic light coalition is letting the states and municipalities down. That’s not our way.” Not only the Uniper Group needs a protective shield, but also municipal hospitals and public utilities.

Strobl also criticized the ideological fight at traffic lights against the continued operation of nuclear power plants as “neither sensible nor pragmatic”. He spoke out against shutting down all three nuclear power plants that are still running in Germany – the one in Emsland must also remain connected to the grid over the next two winters.
