Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – A man tried to smuggle kilos of ecstasy as medicine at Stuttgart Airport. The man was checked after he had taken a long-distance bus from Belgium to the airport, customs said on Wednesday. When officials discovered two foil-wrapped packages in his luggage, he said they were medicines from Africa. However, after a test, the green and blue tablets turned out to be around 2.5 kilograms of ecstasy. The man was arrested after the find at the end of May and is now in custody. He is being investigated for drug trafficking in no small amount.
