The investigators announced on Friday. The 51-year-old came to a specialist clinic. He is being investigated for particularly serious arson.
After the fire on Wednesday, two nurses were treated as outpatients for smoke inhalation. The alleged perpetrator, who also injured himself, had also attacked and slightly injured an employee. The home is temporarily uninhabitable. The 70 residents were moved to other homes. The extent of the damage is still unclear.
