Bühlertal (dpa / lsw) – An 82-year-old bus driver overturned his bus in Bühlertal (Rastatt district) and was slightly injured. The accident on Sunday evening caused damage in the six-figure range, the Offenburg police said. The bus went off the main road, drove into an embankment and overturned. The driver was trapped in the vehicle and freed by firefighters. He was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries. Passengers were not on board at the time. It is now being determined how the accident happened. According to the information, the cause could have been a defect in the brakes.
