Überlingen (dpa / lsw) – A house in Überlingen (Bodenseekreis) caught fire on Tuesday, presumably due to a lightning strike. When the fire brigade arrived at the apartment building, the gable was already on fire, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading further. The residents of the house were able to get to safety in time and were not injured. The attic is now uninhabitable and the police estimate the damage at 150,000 euros.
