Ludwigsburg (dpa/lsw) – For the traditional pumpkin exhibition, the Ludwigsburg Park of Blooming Baroque will be transformed into a tropical rainforest this year. The highlights are figures from the Jungle Book, such as the black bear Baloo or Mowgli – composed of pumpkins. The show started this Friday and will last until December 4th. The organizers advertise that it is the “largest pumpkin exhibition in the world”.

A total of more than 600 varieties of autumn fruit are on display, including ornamental gourds, carved gourds or gourd gourds. As always, there will be a competition to weigh in: the largest pumpkins in Germany and Europe will be the focus on October 2nd and 9th.
