Pforzheim (dpa/lsw) – A truck with a trailer overturned on the Autobahn 8 near Pforzheim on Wednesday evening. The driver suffered minor injuries in the accident, a police spokeswoman said. As a result, the lane in the direction of Stuttgart was completely closed, in the direction of Karlsruhe two of the three lanes were initially impassable due to debris. Miles of traffic jams had therefore formed in both directions, said the police spokeswoman. Salvage and clean-up operations would continue until late in the evening. The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
