Friolzheim (dpa / lsw) – Two men were injured in a truck accident on Autobahn 8 near Friolzheim (Enzkreis). As the police announced on Friday, there was a semi-trailer truck on the hard shoulder on Thursday evening with hazard warning lights on. A 53-year-old driver came off the road to the right with his truck, crashed into the trailer and then pushed a car up to a concrete barrier. Rescue workers took the driver and the driver who caused the accident to a hospital with minor injuries.
Officials blocked the A 8 in the direction of Stuttgart for several hours. Since the tank leaked, the highway maintenance department cleaned the road. According to initial estimates, the damage is 100,000 euros.
