Waldshut-Tiengen (dpa / lsw) – Customs officials have seized several weapons and ammunition from a marksman from the Waldshut district. Among the weapons were a machine gun, a small caliber rifle and two loaded pistols, as the customs investigation announced on Wednesday. He couldn’t show permission for any of them.
The 72-year-old was initially suspected of illegally importing a Kalashnikov to Germany. By chance, officers stumbled upon the other weapons in mid-December. However, they did not find the Kalashnikov.
