Baden-Württemberg: Woman injured in fire on hands and arms

Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) – A fire in a room of an apartment building in Stuttgart on Monday evening caused damage of 20,000 euros. A 47-year-old woman tried to put out the fire and was taken to hospital with burns to her hands and forearms and smoke inhalation. According to the police on Tuesday, she lit a grave candle on a plastic table and went to sleep in an adjoining room. As a result, the burning of the candle resulted in a full fire. Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to other rooms. It was not necessary to evacuate the residents of the house.
