Schelklingen (dpa / lsw) – A young person was hit by a train near Schelklingen (Alb-Donau-Kreis) on the way home from a party and killed. As a police spokesman said on Monday, witnesses alerted the emergency services on Sunday morning. According to the information, the 17-year-old attended a festival and ran on the rails on the way home. Police suspect that the young man was drunk. The railway line was subsequently closed. Why he walked on the tracks remained unclear.
