The 23-year-old ran over and fatally injured a pedestrian in Nuremberg during the night from Saturday to Sunday. According to the police, he and a second driver were driving through the city center at increased speed when the 23-year-old lost control of his car and came onto the sidewalk. He ran over the pedestrian who was walking on the sidewalk. He died at the scene of the accident.

The driver fled, and the second car also left the scene of the accident without stopping. It is not yet clear why the 23-year-old lost control of his car.
