Oberstdorf (dpa / lby) – A 55-year-old woman died in a crash in the German-Austrian Alps. The woman was on Monday afternoon with her husband and a friend on the Mindelheim via ferrata when she fell in an unsecured spot and fell around 300 meters through rocky terrain, as the police headquarters in Oberstdorf announced on Tuesday. She was recovered by rescue workers from Austria because the German forces were working on another mountain accident at the same time.
