Geiselwind (dpa/lby) – The A3 in Lower Franconia will be partially closed for three nights from Tuesday. The approximately 16-kilometer full closure between the Rottendorf and Kitzingen-Schwarzach junctions is planned from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day, said A3 Nordbayern GmbH

Between the Biebelried and Fürth/Erlangen interchanges, the autobahn will be expanded from four to six lanes over a length of around 76 kilometres. The next complete closure is expected to take place on September 17 between the Wiesenheit and Geiselwind junctions.
