Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – The ADAC takes stock at the halfway point: According to the automobile club, the start of the holiday season in Bavaria has led to the busiest weekend of the year so far. Overall, between July 29th and 31st, the ADAC registered 924 traffic jam reports with a total length of just over 2,300 kilometers on the Bavarian motorways, as the automobile club announced on Friday. Compared to the previous year, however, the level of congestion decreased in the first three weeks of the summer holidays. The feared traffic jam chaos with longer traffic jams than in 2019 did not materialize.
