Oberstaufen (dpa / lby) – Two days after the death of a ten-year-old in a cowshed, there was another accident with a cow in Bavaria. When the farmer in Oberstaufen (Oberallgäu district) administered a wormer treatment, a cow panicked and overran a helper, the police said on Saturday. The 28-year-old was taken to hospital on Friday with abdominal injuries. The police are investigating the farmer for negligent bodily harm.
On Thursday, a cow killed a 10-year-old in his parents’ barn. The injuries indicated that the animal had crushed him against the wall, police said on Friday. The parents are said to have been employed in the stable in Feldkirchen-Westerham (Rosenheim district) during the accident. They later discovered the boy unconscious. He died in hospital that night despite the emergency doctor’s call.
