Augsburg (dpa / lby) – Midfielder Niklas Dorsch from FC Augsburg underwent surgery after breaking his metatarsal again. The Bundesliga soccer club published a photo of the 24-year-old leading player from his sick bed on Thursday. Dorsch held up his right thumb in the camera.
The 2021 U21 European champion has been missing from Augsburg since the start of the season after breaking his metatarsus in preparation. A few weeks ago, the right foot started training again. Last Friday he injured himself again during his comeback for the FCA Regionalliga team and broke his metatarsal again.
