Rötz (dpa / lby) – A 51-year-old motorcyclist died on Saturday in a collision with a car in the Upper Palatinate. The 44-year-old driver was on the federal road 22 near Rötz (Cham district) and wanted to turn left into a gas station, the police said on Saturday. He probably overlooked the oncoming motorcyclist and they crashed into each other. Despite attempts at resuscitation on site, the 51-year-old died at the scene of the accident.
