Augsburg (dpa / lby) – A cat apparently caused a fire in an apartment building in Augsburg. As the police announced on Tuesday, the animal had probably rummaged through the household waste placed on the hob on Monday afternoon. The cat apparently activated the touch-controlled hob and the garbage started to burn. At the time there were no people in the apartment, but a neighbor saved several animals. There was damage of around 8,000 euros. Nobody got hurt.
