Hof (dpa / lby) – The Upper Franconian city of Hof warns against swimming in the Untreusee, which is south of the municipality, because of blue-green algae. The local health department found on Monday that the lake was polluted by the algae, the city announced on Friday. Dogs could also be at risk. Blue-green algae are bacteria that can cause skin irritation, among other things.
