Holzkirchen (dpa/lby) – A single-family house in Upper Bavaria went up in flames on New Year’s morning. According to the police, the residents got to safety in good time. A cat couldn’t get out of the burning house in Holzkirchen (Miesbach district). The fire first broke out in a garden house and spread to the wooden facade of the house. The house is no longer habitable for the time being. Police estimate the damage to be in the mid-six figures. The cause of the fire was initially unclear.
