Dittelbrunn (dpa / lby) – A dog was left in a car in Lower Franconia and died in the summer heat of up to 30 degrees. As the police reported on Saturday, a passer-by discovered the animal that was still alive in the parked vehicle in Dittelbrunn (Schweinfurt district) on Friday. When officers arrived and smashed the window, the Rottweiler was dead.
It was also said that the lowered windows were not enough at temperatures of 30 degrees. The owner put the animal in the care of his 22-year-old daughter while he was on vacation. They parked the car in a residential complex. The police could not say where the 22-year-old was at the time.
