Munich (dpa / lby) – After the electrical accident when exiting a freight train in Munich’s Trudering station, doctors put two injured people in an artificial coma. The condition of the initially revived 24-year-old and his 15-year-old sister is “critical but stable,” the federal police said on Wednesday. Her twelve-year-old brother is also “relatively stable”. On Tuesday, the three of them, together with nine other people, drove illegally in the freight train across the border to Germany and got out over the roof tarpaulin at a stop in Trudering, which resulted in a life-threatening electrical flashover.
Since the 24-year-old held his siblings by the hands, they were also injured. The other victims – two women, three young men and a child, who also come from Turkey – suffered minor injuries. According to the federal police, three other people who had also hidden in the freight train coming from Italy also fled.
