Starnberg (dpa / lby) – For months he is said to have stolen a total of around 500 cigarette packs: A 29-year-old employee of a Starnberg discounter was arrested after one of the thefts. According to the information, the thefts began a month after he was hired. The branch management noticed a missing pole again on Saturday and dialed the emergency call, the police said on Sunday. The suspected 29-year-old was then searched by the police after work. Officers found the cigarettes in his pocket. The man confessed and was due to be brought before an investigating judge on Sunday.
