Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – More than a week after the deadly shots in the south of Nuremberg, the police set up a special commission (Soko) to find the shooter. Around 40 officers were involved in the search for the 28-year-old wanted by arrest warrant, the police said in Nuremberg on Thursday. It is also about finding more witnesses on the basis of a surveillance video, it said.
The 28-year-old is suspected of having fired shots at two men in front of a Nuremberg restaurant on the evening of October 24. One of the two died a little later in the hospital from gunshot wounds, the other survived.
The surveillance video, on which the crime can be seen, shows that there must be other, previously unknown witnesses to the crime, according to the police. Among other things, people with prams can be seen who could possibly make important contributions to the investigation.
