Bad Rodach (dpa / lby) – An unknown person is said to have killed five bee colonies in Bad Rodach (Coburg district). It was initially unclear what caused the animals to die, as a police spokesman said. The 72-year-old beekeeper rules out a natural death. There were no signs of illness during the year. According to his assumptions, an unknown person brought poison into the beehives. The police are investigating a violation of the Animal Welfare Act and property damage.
