Regensburg (dpa / lby) – Five months after the attack on a club visitor in Regensburg, the public prosecutor’s office took three suspected security staff into custody. They are accused of attempted manslaughter, the police said on Friday.
In the incident in early April, the 36-year-old guest should be expelled from the club. After a dispute with security service employees, two of them grabbed the 36-year-old, who is said to have tried to free himself. Two more employees were added. The men are said to have punched and kicked the guest until he passed out, police said. Then they would have dropped him in front of the club.
Witnesses called the police. The victim was taken to a hospital. As a result of the investigation, several arrest warrants were issued and three security staff arrested.
