Wiesentheid (dpa / lby) – An unknown attacked and injured a hardware store employee in front of the shop in the Kitzingen district. On Thursday morning, the employee wanted to enter the shop in Wiesentheid before it opened and carried the income from the past week with him, the police said on Friday. The man struck the 37-year-old and snatched the cash from him. He fled with the five-figure sum. Emergency services took the 37-year-old to the hospital with severe bruises. The police are now looking for witnesses.
