Ansbach (dpa / lby) – A hot air balloon has landed unscheduled in a Middle Franconian barracks of the United States Armed Forces. According to the police on Monday, the landing was an accident: Bad thermals caused the flight to end abruptly on a meadow near Ansbach barracks on Sunday. According to the police, the nine balloonists survived the landing unscathed and were escorted out of the barracks by the US military police.
