Freilassing (dpa / lby) – A 61-year-old was killed by a regional train in the Berchtesgadener Land district in Upper Bavaria. The man probably wanted to cross the tracks at Freilassing station on foot on Monday night, the police said. The incoming train, in which there were no passengers, caught the man. He suffered fatal injuries.
Due to the circumstances, a tragic accident is currently assumed, it said. The train driver was not injured.
