Arzberg (dpa / lby) – After a knife attack on a man in Arzberg (Wunsiedel district), an arrest warrant was issued against the suspect. The 36-year-old had to answer for dangerous bodily harm and threats, reported the police headquarters in Upper Franconia and the public prosecutor’s office in Hof on Thursday. The man is said to have injured a 54-year-old in the head with a knife in an asylum seeker’s accommodation. After the crime on Tuesday evening, he fled and was arrested at the bus station. The victim was reportedly taken to the hospital with a bleeding head wound, but sustained no life-threatening injuries.
