Fürstenfeldbruck (dpa / lby) – A youth has been taken into custody because he is said to have stabbed a man lying on the ground in Fürstenfeldbruck. The 17-year-old is suspected of attempted manslaughter, police said on Tuesday. The arrest warrants for dangerous bodily harm against two other young people were suspended against conditions.

The 28-year-old victim was found on November 14 in Fürstenfeldbruck with a life-threatening stab wound. The man and a companion, who was later also injured by kicks and punches, had previously argued with a group of young people in front of a shopping center.

The perpetrators initially fled after the incident. Last week investigators then searched eleven apartments, secured evidence and questioned witnesses to the incident. This ultimately led to five suspects between the ages of 15 and 17. Arrest warrants have been issued for three of them. The 28-year-old victim has since been released from the hospital.
