Freising (dpa / lby) – In order to make an appointment to pick up their confiscated vehicle key, two men drove up to the police in Freising in an unregistered car. According to the police on Friday, both had previously been checked on Autobahn 9 in the direction of Berlin.
There was a sports car on their van that they might want to bring to Poland. The 41-year-old driver had a positive drug test. Officers found 18 grams of amphetamine powder in the pocket of the 22-year-old passenger. The 41-year-old also did not have a driver’s license for the van. The police officers secured the car key after the check on Wednesday and prohibited further driving.
Because the money for a taxi to the police station was apparently no longer sufficient, the men quickly took the sports car without a license plate from the loading area of ??the van and then drove to the police station to ask for the vehicle key for the van. Both are now being investigated for various crimes, it said.
