Garmisch-Partenkirchen (dpa / lby) – Four men with pistols and rifles caused a lot of excitement and a large police operation in the Friedergries natural forest reserve near Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Witnesses alerted the police on Sunday.

About 30 police officers on site finally found four men and found that the weapons were dummies, a police spokesman said on Monday. The men, aged 34, 36, 40 and 41, had carried two long guns and two handguns and said they were making a film.

According to the police spokesman, the decorative weapons were secured. The men were charged with gun possession.

The G7 summit will take place from June 26th to 28th in nearby Elmau Castle. The preparation of security measures for the meeting are in full swing.
