Oberthulba (dpa / lby) – A motorcyclist was hit by a car in Lower Franconia and seriously injured. A 55-year-old was driving in Oberthulba (Bad Kissingen district) on Friday and did not notice the oncoming motorcyclist turning left, as the police reported on Saturday. Despite emergency braking, the 34-year-old crashed into the car and fell from his vehicle. The man was flown to the hospital in a rescue helicopter with serious leg injuries. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
