Fürth (dpa / lby) – A firecracker thrown through an open window set a bed on fire in Fürth in central Franconia. The resident was able to put out the fire herself, police said on Wednesday. The New Year’s firecracker thrown by a previously unknown person landed in the 33-year-old’s bedroom on Tuesday evening. The damage is said to be in the high three-digit range.
