Munich (dpa / lby) – A hot summer day with lots of sun awaits the Free State today. In the afternoon, however, the risk of thunderstorms in the Alps should increase, the German Weather Service announced on Friday. Heavy rain, hail and gusts of wind up to 80 kilometers per hour are possible. In the night from Friday to Saturday, thunderstorms are also likely in other regions of Bavaria. The risk of forest fires is still high and the air is generally dry.
