Mömbris (dpa / lby) – A parcel carrier was run over by his own van in Lower Franconia and then died of his injuries. The 61-year-old was said to have been busy unloading packages in Mömbris (Aschaffenburg district) when the car rolled back and hit him, the police said on Tuesday. A local resident made an emergency call immediately after the accident on Monday, but an emergency doctor could only determine the man’s death. The public prosecutor’s office ordered an expert to investigate the course of the accident.
