Weitramsdorf (dpa / lby) – A 76-year-old drove into a parked car in the Coburg district without braking. The pensioner was slightly injured by the impact in Weitramsdorf, the police said on Wednesday. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The 63-year-old owner of the parked car was reportedly not in his car when the accident occurred on Tuesday.
According to the police, the vehicle of the person who caused the accident “only has a scrap value”. The total damage to the two vehicles is at least 18,000 euros. It is not yet known why the pensioner drove into the parked car. The police assume that the driver was inattentive.
