Erding (dpa / lby) – After a fire in the basement of an apartment building in Erding, Upper Bavaria, the police assume arson. According to the police on Monday, an 86-year-old was slightly injured in the fire early Friday morning. 20 residents had to leave their homes temporarily.
A passer-by noticed smoke coming out of a basement window. According to the police’s initial findings, an unknown person had broken into a basement compartment and set fire to clothing stored there. The damage amounts to around 15,000 euros.
