Ostheim vor der Rhön (dpa/lby) – Bottles and a firecracker were thrown at police officers in Ostheim vor der Rhön (Rhoen-Grabfeld district) because they wanted to break up a party. The officials also had to endure massive insults, as the police announced on Saturday morning. The police were informed around midnight about a disturbance caused by a party with over 300 participants. When the emergency services arrived, the celebration was broken up with the help of the 19-year-old organizer and loudspeaker announcements.
A group of 50 people between the ages of 17 and 25 suddenly attacked the police. The situation was finally calmed down and the personal details of those involved were recorded. Nobody was injured. The police are investigating a breach of the peace.
