Nuremberg (dpa / lby) – In the case of a pregnant woman from Nuremberg who has been missing for days, the police have formed a 24-strong special commission. For the investigators, there was growing evidence that the disappearance of the 39-year-old could be the result of a crime, a spokesman said on Friday.

The woman’s cash, ID and maternity passport were still at her place of residence. The investigators therefore assumed that the woman did not plan or leave voluntarily. Where she could be is still unknown.

Her partner had reported the eight-month-pregnant woman missing on Friday last week because she had previously disappeared without a trace. The police were already searching with sniffer dogs at the woman’s place of residence. She was last seen on Friday morning in the Katzwang district of Nuremberg.
