A man attacks innocent people with a knife in Würzburg – three women are killed. More than a year later, two psychiatrists are to describe their impression of the accused to the district court.
Estenfeld/Würzburg (dpa/lby) – In the trial against the probably mentally ill stabber from Würzburg, the psychiatric reports are due today. The two experts are to report to the Würzburg Regional Court what impression they have of the accused and why they believe he was not guilty of the crime in June last year. According to the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office and the Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office, the experts commissioned in the investigation had come to this conclusion independently of one another.
Voices in his head are said to have prompted the Somali refugee to attack people he apparently did not know.
