Großostheim (dpa/lby) – A robber attacked a supermarket in Lower Franconia on Tuesday morning and stole cash. The suspect then fled on foot. Police forces from Aschaffenburg, from neighboring departments and from Hesse searched in vain for the suspect with numerous patrols. According to a police spokesman, it was initially unclear how much money he was able to loot.
According to the investigation, the man had waited for an employee in the morning when she opened the supermarket in Großostheim (Aschaffenburg district).
