Passau (dpa / lby) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident in Lower Bavaria. A 64-year-old driver was slightly injured on Friday, police said on Saturday. The two men collided in Passau when the 64-year-old turned onto the B12. He missed the 36-year-old coming from the left on his motorcycle and they collided.
Paramedics took both of them to the hospital. The motorcyclist is not life-threatening, police said. The officials are now investigating both parties involved in the accident: they found alcohol in the driver, which is why blood was drawn from him. The motorcyclist is said to have been traveling at too high a speed.
