Neustadt an der Waldnaab (dpa/lby) – There were four traffic accidents with five slightly injured people in winter weather on the Autobahn 93 in the Upper Palatinate. There were three crashes in the Tirschenreuth district: near Pechbrunn, a 24-year-old skidded her car in the left lane and crashed into the central barrier. She was unharmed. A little later, someone of the same age at Falkenberg also slipped into the central barrier. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. A traffic jam formed, at the end of which a 55-year-old did not brake in time and hit a car. Both drivers were uninjured.

According to the police, there was a fourth accident on the A93 near Windischeschenbach (Neustadt an der Waldnaab district). There, a 21-year-old got his vehicle into a skid and the car overturned. The driver and his three passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
