Bischofsmais (dpa / lby) – After the fire in a hotel ruin in Lower Bavaria, embers are still forming. The fire brigade was able to prevent the flames from spreading to a forest on Saturday, but they were unable to limit the damage to the ruins in Bischofsmais (Regen district). The police said on Monday that they had been burned down in a controlled manner. It was not known what caused the fire, the police are investigating and are looking for witnesses. The damage is estimated at at least three and a half million euros, nobody was injured.
