Straubing (dpa/lby) – The Straubing Tigers continue to form their squad for the coming season in the German Ice Hockey League. As the Lower Bavarians announced on Saturday, the Canadian Luke Adam should strengthen the Straubing offensive in the future.

Last season, the 32-year-old played for league rivals Iserlohn Roosters. He scored nine goals in 43 games. Before that, Adam was also active with the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, the Düsseldorfer EG and the Adler from Mannheim.

“Through his experience in the PENNY DEL, he knows what is important in this league,” said Straubing’s sporting director, Jason Dunham. “In Luke Adam we have a flexible striker in our team who brings the necessary depth to our squad.”
